A book-loving couple struggled to choose just a few titles for their floral arrangements, so we used a small library to craft their flowers! Among the cherished books was one particularly special title that held deep meaning for the bride. To honor her late father, she incorporated the first book he ever gave her, "To Kill a Mockingbird," into her bouquet.
We Are Not Flower People
This was the first thing the bride said to me during the consultation. Followed closely by "But we are definitely book people." I immediately knew they'd be an amazing couple to work with!
They're also outdoorsy types, which got me thinking...we don't have to use so many flowers or any at all for that matter. And what says "outdoorsy" better than leaves and berries?! In the end, they chose sunflowers and calla lilies to round out their forest-inspired arrangements.
Bridesmaid & Mothers
Every bridesmaid posy and mothers’ wrist corsage was created using pages from books that held special meaning, chosen to reflect the unique interests and beloved reads of each recipient.
Centerpieces
Centerpieces were intentionally minimal, doubling as guest favors at the end of the evening. Each arrangement featured three petite bottle vases, making it easy for guests to select and take home a meaningful memento.
