Your wedding flowers aren’t just décor. They're memories and stories you’ll hold onto forever. Book page florals bring all of that to life through personalization, meaning, and sustainability.

But choosing who creates them is just as important as choosing what they are made of.

For me, this work isn’t just a business. It is personal, creative, and meaningful. Every wedding I take on is infused with the same care, artistry, and intention I would want for my own. That is why couples who want something truly unique, lasting, and personal choose to work with me.

A Quick Look Ahead

I know wedding planning comes with a lot of moving parts, so I’ve made it easy to jump to the sections you care about most:

My Background: Art, Design, and Storytelling

Katie Lloyd, owner and designer at Anthology On Main, sitting in front of a library of books, holding scissors and a hardcover copy of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, ready to be turned into beautiful and long lasting book page flowers

I’m Katie, the artist behind Anthology on Main. My background is in art, design, and storytelling, and that love of creativity led me to create something different for weddings. I’ve always been artistic, the kind of person who could spend hours cutting, folding, and creating just to bring an idea to life. In college, I discovered a love for working with paper and text, and in 2011 I made my first book page flower. What started as a creative experiment quickly

became a passion, and by 2013 I was crafting custom florals for weddings.

I’ve never looked back.

Since then, I’ve worked with over a hundred couples to create florals from books that hold a special place in their hearts, florals that reflect who they are, not what’s trending. Every design is personal, intentional, and crafted with care.

Book page flowers aren’t traditional and that’s part of their beauty. They’re creative, meaningful, and a little outside the box. Choosing something different takes confidence, but if it feels right to you, don’t be afraid to take that step.

My Approach: Artful, Personal, Intentional

Every wedding is a unique story, and your flowers should be no different. I don’t believe in cookie-cutter designs or rushing through the process just to check a box. Instead, I focus on creating florals that are as meaningful and personal as the couple themselves.

Each flower I craft is intentional. I take my time to ensure every petal, fold, and detail is exactly right, from design to finished piece, because your wedding deserves nothing less than care and thoughtfulness.

My goal isn’t just to make something beautiful, it’s to create something that belongs to you and only you. Whether it’s a page from your favorite novel, a nod to a fandom, or a design inspired by your personal story, every piece is tailored to reflect your heart, your soul, and your passions.

Working with me means you’re choosing creativity over convention, meaning over trends, and craftsmanship over mass production. Together, we’ll create florals that not only look stunning but carry a story you'll remember forever.

What Sets Me Apart

There are plenty of florists out there, but what I create is something different. Every flower is handcrafted from real book pages, designed to feel as personal and intentional as the stories they come from.

Here’s what makes my work stand out:

flat lay of book page floral stems, including sunflowers, forget me nots, larkspur, lisianthus and eucalyptus in an autumn color palette of warm yellows, burnt oranges and sage green

  • Original flower templates — I design and cut each petal from scratch, creating my own patterns rather than using generic ones

  • Custom designs — arrangements built just for you, never copied or mass-produced

  • Boutique, one-on-one service — you’ll always work directly with me from first idea to final shipment

  • Sustainable and keepsake-friendly — flowers that last long after your wedding day

  • Personal touches — from favorite books to fandom details to flowers created in memory of a loved one who has passed, your story is always part of the design

  • Honesty and flexibility — I’ll guide you through the process, making recommendations along the way, but the final choices are always yours

My couples aren’t just looking for something pretty. They want flowers with meaning, creativity, and a story that lasts.

The Experience: What It’s Like to Work With Me

Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, especially when it comes to flowers. My goal is to make this part of the process calm, clear, and enjoyable.

When we work together, you can expect:

  • Design clarity from the start — I’ll share visuals of floral varieties and color palettes to help you picture your flowers and make confident choices.

  • Updates along the way — You’ll receive photo check-ins during production, with a clear window for requesting color adjustments if something doesn’t feel quite right.

  • Honest guidance — If I ever notice something is off, I’ll be upfront and offer adjustments so the final design matches your vision.

  • Ideas beyond the wedding day — From reusing flowers between the ceremony and reception to styling them in your home afterward, I’ll share creative ways to enjoy them long-term.

  • A thoughtful finish — Once your flowers are perfected, I’ll carefully package and ship them to you, ready for your personal touch on the big day.

Words From the Couples I’ve Worked With

While I love turning a flat page into a flower, what matters most are the people I create them for. The couples I work with aren’t just clients; they’re the heart of what I do. I’m honored to be trusted with something so personal, and how they feel about their flowers means the world to me.

But you don’t have to take my word for it. Here are a few words from couples I’ve had the joy of creating for:

There are seriously no words to describe my feeling of happiness. They are truly so beautiful, and I’m really thankful I can have them FOREVER. Thank you for making our visions and dreams come true!  - A., Iowa

“They were delivered today and I am just in LOVE! I even opened my flower delivery in the post office lobby because I couldn’t wait to get home. You are absolutely amazing and so talented. THANK YOU!” — C., Missouri

“I still have my flowers and love them just as much today as I did the day I walked down the aisle. Thank you again for your wonderful work.”  — A., Texas, (sent 4 years after her wedding)

This Isn’t for Everyone — And That’s Okay

Book page flowers aren’t for every couple, nor are they intended to be. I’m not a traditional florist, and that’s by design. My best work is with couples who value creativity, meaning, and collaboration.

If you’re looking for grand, elaborate arrangements straight from a magazine spread, I’m probably not the right fit. Everything I make is handcrafted and personal, designed to be cherished long after the wedding day, which means I focus on meaning, not scale.

We might be a great fit if:

  • You love books — the kind of love that spills onto your nightstand, shelves, and everywhere in between.

  • You’re a super-fan, a nerd, or someone with a passion you’re proud of — and you want to see that part of yourself reflected in your wedding.

  • You’ve never had a Pinterest-perfect wedding board — because you’re far more complex than a single aesthetic.

  • You’re not afraid to stand out or do things your own way — in fact, you prefer it.

  • You care more about the meaning of the details than whether they match someone else’s expectations.

  • You want flowers that go beyond beauty — ones that carry meaning, sentiment, and memory all at once.

  • You want more than just photos to remember your wedding — you want something you can hold, display, or pass down.

  • You don’t buy into the fresh flower industry or want to spend thousands on blooms destined for the dumpster.

  • You want to work with someone who gets it — who sees you and your story, and wants to create something that truly reflects it.
